POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description An established business within the agricultural and plant sector is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant to join its finance team in Stellenbosch. The role offers a unique combination of financial reporting, compliance and cost accounting responsibilities within a growing operational environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements and reports Ensure IFRS and SME compliance Manage budgeting and forecasting activities Perform cost accounting and analysis Prepare management reports Assist with audits and statutory reporting Monitor financial controls Support operational finance initiatives Job Experience and Skills Required Qualification: BCom Degree Studying towards CIMA advantageous SAICA articles preferred Experience: 3 to 5 years' relevant finance experience Nursery, agricultural or plant industry experience advantageous Financial reporting experience Cost accounting experience Technical Skills: IFRS SME compliance Budgeting Forecasting Cost accounting Financial reporting Advanced Excel The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Technically strong Detail-oriented Analytical Commercially aware Organised Deadline-driven Why Consider This Opportunity?
