Financial Accountant (5 month contract to start ASAP)

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Accountant on a five-month fixed term contract.  He/She will be responsible for:

• Compiling monthly financial reports
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
•  Assisting with annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting
• Implement and maintain internal controls
• Maintenance of monthly internal control fine
• Prepare monthly wage/salary/contractors payroll journals
• Ensure effective supplier and internal client query resolution and liaison
• Compiling general ledger journals and maintaining the GL journal file
• Conduct an expense analysis

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Finance
• 2+ years’ experience in a Financial Accountant role within a large corporate organisation.
• Experience in all Microsoft Office applications and bookkeeping program e.g., Accpac or similar
