A reputable financial services provider specializing in insurance, asset management, wholesale and retail banking is looking for a confident, assertive, and ambitious Chartered Accountant CA (SA) to join their team as a Financial Accountant.

A reputable financial services provider specializing in insurance, asset management, wholesale and retail banking is looking for a confident, assertive, and ambitious Chartered Accountant CA (SA) to join their team as a Financial Accountant.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, journal entries and consolidations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monthly reporting, preparing the annual financial statements and tax.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)
Big 4 audit firm experience is preferred

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 1-year post article experience in insurance/banking is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Experience with IFRS and consolidations is preferred
Experience with financial reporting is preferred
