POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

The Financial Accountant is responsible to work in close collaboration with the Subsidiary CFO and CEO to ensure the financial sustainability of the division. In order to do so, the Financial Accountant will be held accountable for the following practices and processes:

Running the accounting and financial activities of the company
Prepares monthly statements by collecting and assembling data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends
Prepares monthly and annual statements by assembling data
Reports on costs, productivity, margins and company expenditures.
All tax related activities
Credit Control
Financial Budgeting and Forecasting
Operational Financial Management
General Accounting and Transactional Financial Oversight
Financial Reporting
Financial and Business Decision Making
Auditing and Financial Governance (internal, external and Funder)
Annual Financial Statement preparation
Cash flow Management
Procurement
Donor reporting
Payroll accounting
All bank related activities
People Leadership

Minimum Requirements:

Bcom Degree
5 years or more experience in a manufaturing/FMCG or Mining entity
Pastel Evolution
