A well know services company is seeking for an Financial Accountant to form part of their central team.

My client has an extensive footprint across South-Africa with multiple branches across the country. They are a brand that is trusted among their clients.

As leading company within their niche they are looking for someone to form part of their growing and stable finance team. As a Financial Accountant you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and take on challenges every day this is not just a typical role it is a career.

I’m calling on all the immediately/two week notice period candidates as this rule is contract based with the potential of becoming permanent.

Job & Company Description:

• Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
• Forecast costs and revenues
• Manage tax payments
• Organize internal audits
• Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
• Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
• Analyze financial trends
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconciliation
• Assisting different regions with services and administration
• Working directly with different departments in the Head Office
• Purchase orders
• Approving year end

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Bcom Degree with SAIPA/SAICA
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the same line
• Excel Advanced as this will be tested during the interview
• Immediatley/ Two Week notice candidates
