A reputable concern in the retail industry, is looking for an energetic, target driven CA (SA) to join their finance team as a Financial Accountant.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of monthly financial statements as well as supporting the month-end and year-end close process. The Financial Accountant will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, journal entries and monthly reporting.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 1-year post article experience
Experience in the working in the supermarket retailer space is preferred
Problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Sound technical accounting knowledge
Willing to work over weekends
