SUMMARY:
Our key client and leader in the Legal Industry seeks to employ a Financial Accountant to be based at thier offices in Sandton.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Matric
An Honours degree in finance/accounting or relevant qualification
CA (SA) with at least 1-2 years post qualification
experience

At least 1-2 years relevant experience in a financial accountant role
Have proven experience in reporting / management accounting and running full financial function

Understands and lives the “CAT” (Complete, Accurate and Timeous) philosophy
Advanced Excel skills.
Good knowledge of financial systems environment and understanding of the interaction between different modules and functional areas.
Sound knowledge of IFRS, tax and Companies Act.
Implementation of financial accounting philosophy and measurements within operational environments.
Have a well-developed knowledge of business operations.
Ability to influence operational and functional personnel to achieve cost reduction and realise cost and efficiency savings.
Ability to identify key drivers and opportunities to improve business performance.
Adaptable, with a professional and positive attitude.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Fully computer literate and have sound knowledge of MS Office; and
Good interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external service providers.
