SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the Financial records and assist in all Financial/Management & Group reporting.

POSITION INFO:

You will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the Financial records and assist in all Financial/Management & Group reporting.

Key Performance Areas:

Responsible for daily activities in the Finance Department and liaising with various team members and other departments
Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and other financial reporting
Monthly management and group reporting
Assisting with the preparation of tax returns
Assisting with the preparation of annual budgeting and forecasting
Liaising and working with auditors
Responsible for the integrity of the financial ledger and systems
Other ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a Financial Accountant - minimum 5 years in a like position
B.Comm Finance / Accounting or similar
Completed Articles (SAICA / SAIPA) advantageous
Other professional qualifications advantageous
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of the Wine / Tourism Industry would be advantageous
Proficient user of finance software
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team player
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
