Our client is a leading multinational company operating in the Logistics and Supply Chain industries, and they are currently looking for an individual to join their East Rand based finance team as a Temporary Financial Accountant. POSITION INFO:

Our client is a leading multinational company operating in the Logistics and Supply Chain industries, and they are currently looking for an individual to join their East Rand based finance team as a Temporary Financial Accountant. This is a three month fixed term contract with the possibility of further extension. If you are the ideal for this vacancy, please apply!

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and/or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree and/or National Diploma (NDip) in Logistics
Minimum 3 years’ working experience in a similar Accounting position

Job description & Skills:

Preparing financial statements and financial reports as well as making recommendations regarding cost reduction
Reconciling asset costs to general ledger asset accounts for all assets capitalised during a specific period
Establishing and implementing processes and/or procedures for the annual physical verification of assets
Preparing tax schedules to determine the estimated taxes due by the company
Conducting financial analysis and providing business advice that facilitates decision making that supports the company
Ensuring that financial books are accurately prepared and regularly maintained
Liaising with auditors and overseeing the successful completion of audits
