Job & Company Description:

My client, an Electrical Engineering and electronics manufacturer, has an exciting 6-month contract position available. The successful Financial Accountant will be part of this amazing company that has been listed on the JSE for over 70 years. If you have good IFRS 9 & 16 knowledge and have worked with complex consolidations, this is the role for you!

Duties: 

• Preparing annual financial statements and reports
• Monthly VAT returns, Tax and statutory compliance
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing annual budgets and forecasts
• Cashbook processing and fixed asset register

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:  

Qualified CA(SA)

Experience: 

• Minimum 1-2 year’s commercial experience
