SUMMARY:

Our client, a global bank and listed financial institution with a reputation of being set apart from the rest, continues to invest in a culture that empowers individuals to flourish. They are seeking to appoint a high performing FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT who is solution-minded.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities include:

Generating monthly management reporting, budgets, forecasts, financial control, ad hoc analysis and industry comparisons.
Prepare, analyse and present business unit level income statements
Financial Control, especially Balance Sheet Substantiation and Monitoring
Budget and forecast analysis and reporting.
Understand, analyse and report capital, EVA and ROE impacts
Completion of Audit Packs and liaison with Auditors
Completion of Tax Packs and liaison with Tax Department

Qualifications, Competencies and Experience required:

Qualified CA
8+ years Post Articles experience in financial services or similarly demanding division/industry.
Proven ability to build relationships with business partners and team
Desire and influence to continuously innovate financial processes and systems

This role will suit a seasoned financial accountant, who enjoys the full gambit of accounting and working in a collaborative and team environment. This role is based in Gauteng.
