SUMMARY:
Our client in the Durban area has an EE opportunity available for a Financial Accountant.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Bachelor''s degree in Commerce
Qualified CA (SA)
At least 5 years accounting experience including general accounting
Attention to Detail
General office software, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in SAGE; IDU; Atom is preferable

KPAs:

Customer billing and month-end process
Review bank statement capture and bank reconciliations
Audit file preparation / review
Debt collection and credit control
Customer credit risk analysis and evaluation
Responsible for the financial aspects of all company transactions
Ensuring company compliance with financial regulations and standards, e.g. IFRS; NERSA; Gas Act; Tax laws, Company law
Coordinate audits and proper filing of company tax returns and employee tax submissions
Responsible for Sage, ATOM and IDU Literacy
Financial and Shareholder Relationships
