My client who is part of a JSE listed group with operations in the logistics, industrial and chemical spaces is looking for immediately available finance professionals to join their team on a 12-month project.

Have you completed your SAICA articles and have passed both your exams? If yes, then my client is looking for you to join their team as a Financial Accountant. My client who is part of a JSE listed group with operations in the logistics, industrial and chemical spaces is looking for immediately available finance professionals to join their team on a 12-month project.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing detailed analysis for each entity within the group regarding how accounting policies are being applied and analyzing how transactions are being processed in the general ledger. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing a manual for general ledger accounts and assisting with the implementation of the IFRS assurance framework regarding the compliance by entities within the group in accordance with accounting policies.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• Newly Qualified CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact with different divisions and stakeholders to obtain information
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills is preferred
• Able to work independently and keep to tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Team player
