SUMMARY:
National blue chip concern based in the South has an opportunity for a Financial Accountant with strong experience in Cashbooks and payroll.

POSITION INFO:
The role is to perform the accounting function for cashbook and payroll for the group and the financial accounting for a few divisions including admin support services to the Group

Multiple cashbooks and monthly reconciliations of these to bank statements
Daily downloading of bank statements and capturing balances
Processing payments and interbank transfers
Processing daily and monthly cashbook transactions
Effective control of petty cash cards and review petty cash reconciliations
Completion of the payroll input report
Review and reconcile payroll register
Maintain and reconcile payroll balance sheet accounts
Reconcile monthly petrol and cellphone accounts
VAT reconciliations

BCom Accounting degree
Min. 3 to 5 years relevant financial accounting experience
