SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Junior Finance Manager or a Financial Accountant looking for long term career development

POSITION INFO:
Area/Location: Blairegowrie, Randburg

Duties and responsibilities

Plan and prepare financial management documents including monthly reviews, financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
Manage and control capital expenditure and revenue budgets
Manage the payroll system and pension fund scheme, and ensure that payments are made to relevant stakeholders
Ensure cash drawers are reconciled
Provide variance analyses between actual and budgeted figures and stock
Finalise year-end income statement, adjustments, and entries, and prepare financial reports and annual audits
Track the company’s financial status and performance, identifying areas of risk or improvement
Oversee the external audit and annual financial management process
Ensure financial governance, internal controls and compliance to required standards
Ensure legislative and corporate governance compliance requirements to manage risk
Ensure stock levels are reviewed and assessed, variances accounted for and appropriate internal controls implemented to manage stock risks

Desired experience and qualification

Postgraduate Honours in BCom Accounting or B. Accounting
Qualified (or soon-to-be-qualified) Chartered Accountant
Two years auditing articles
