A global and leading manufacturer, specialising in oils and lubricants seeks an experienced and innovative Financial Accountant to join their finance team based in Johannesburg East.

Job & Company Description:

A global and leading manufacturer, specialising in oils and lubricants seeks an experienced and innovative Financial Accountant to join their finance team based in Johannesburg East.

In this role, your main responsbilities will include reviewing of reconciliations, drafting of management accounts, performing GL operations, reconciling balance sheet, year-end audits and queries, as well as play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls.

Education:

BCom in Accounting / Finance

CIMA or CA(SA) qualification will be advantageous

Skills & Experience:

3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role within the FMCG / Manufacturing environment is essential

Operational finance experience is essential for this role

Strong Tax knowledge

SAP experience will be highly beneficial

Financial acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
