JOB SUMMARY:
Fruit export company seeking experienced Financial Accountant, for the following job description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Debtors (FP)

Weekly capturing of receipts
Allocate receipts from bank into QX (Fruit payment clients)
Weekly management of outstanding debtors

Fruit payments

Daily capturing of QX prices and adjustments
Invoicing based on captured prices to foreign buyers in various currencies.

Weekly invoicing to foreign buyers
Invoicing to be done to foreign buyers in various currencies.

Term sheets
Preparing annual term sheets to fruit clients and fruit producers

Credit applications and limits
Update QX with limits covered by CGIC

Producer reporting
Producer advances paid
Producer finals paid
Calculation of margins
Margin reporting
Producer reporting managed within timelines

Weekly payments

Producer payments made weekly

Management accounts

Monthly assisting in management accounts
Bank recons for EUR, YEN, CAD and GBP
Reconciliation between QX/ QV and bank/ BC for receipts and payments

Audit and yearly reconciliations

Assisting in yearly recons and auditor’s requirements
Reconciliations between bank and systems and Pastel
Assisting in audit preparations
Assisting auditors with info required during YE audit

Knowledge & understanding of software system, operations, financial strategy and any other to perform job requirement.
