JOB SUMMARY:
Fantastic opportunity to join a JSE-listed financial services company in the role of Financial Accountant. You will report directly into the Financial Manager, and you will work from home thrice a week. Share your CV with me to find out more

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Ensure that the financial accounting transactions are accurately reflected in the business unit ledgers

Monitor and report on status of all control accounts in the business unit

Prepare monthly financial reports for management, including a high-level variance report by agreed deadline

Produces ongoing and ad-hoc reporting based on requirements from business units, central finance, and other stakeholders

Manages reporting requirements for the business unit

Accountable for governance and compliance

Ensures the effectiveness and appropriateness of the accounting processes utilized to fulfill the needs of the business.

Provides advice on accounting policy and practice to senior and middle management

Qualification:

CA(SA) Highly Advantageous

Bachelor of Commerce Degree non-negotiable

Articles non-negotiable
