JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a seasoned Financial Accountant to assist on a 4-month contract within the Manufacturing industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This job will include, but not limited to the following:
Record new assets in asset register and tax register
Reconcile fixed assets in register and general ledger
Review monthly income statement
Monthly balance sheet preparation
Income Tax and VAT returns compliance
Preparing of annual statutory accounts
Ensure that records to meet legal and Tax requirements are maintained
Liaise with external auditors

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience as an Accountant/ Management Accountant
Knowledge of South African tax law
General accounting principles
Proficient on Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized

Qualification:
CA(SA) or
BCom Degree and SAICA articles
Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
