SUMMARY:

Our client is looking for top calibre candidates to fill the role of a Financial Accountant within their Finance team. The successful incumbent must have a strong academic background with an exceptional personality. POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Preparing accounts and tax returns;
Make recommendations on how to reduce total tax liabilities in the future;
Monitoring the efficiency of accounting control procedures or software programs;
Auditing and analysing financial performance;
Financial forecasting and risk analysis;
Examine the accuracy of financial statements;
Document business financial transactions over time;
Preparing and reviewing invoices for customers and vendors to assist with timely payment;
Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits;
Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports;
Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations;
Keeping account books and systems up to date.

Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12) with distinctions:
BCom Accounting;
BCom Honours (CTA);
Qualified CA (SA).

Experience:

Completed SAICA Articles within a well-recognised audit firm
