JOB SUMMARY:
Manufacturing concern based in Aeroton, has an opening for a Financial Accountant for limited duration contract. Successful incumbent will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for the financial procedures leading up to and including the preparation of the financial management accounts. Supervise staff and be responsible for the general day to day financial administration.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A completed B.Com (Accounting), coupled with 5+ years related Accounting experience within a manufacturing concern essential. KPI's include: Management accounts; GL; cashbooks, AR and AP; journals on Syspro; allocations of income and expenses; reconcile and maintain the fixed assets register; reconciliation of the integrated Syspro modules to the GL; reconciliation of all B/S accounts; prepare accounts for financial year-end audit; ensure debtors collections are within the company's credit limits and terms; maintain the AP module and the cashbooks; responsible for timeous and accurate creditors payments to ensure the smooth receipt of critical supplies; prepare and administer the payroll for Directors and Senior Managers; statutory returns; manage bank accounts including current and call accounts and authorization of payments; staff management and development; and all month-end processes.
