JOB SUMMARY:
To facilitate and manage all aspects of the branch''s financial administration function.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Key performance areas:

Cashbook payments
Debtors / receivables
Creditors / payables
Purchase control / nomical ledge control
Creation of new customer accounts on marketing system / operating system & controls

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, education / training and experience required for this position:

Advanced / Expert Computer Literacy in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
Knowledge Requirements:

Economics and Accounting — Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
Experience working on the Kerridge and / or Autoline system

General:

Strong analytical ability, strong attention to detail; expert ability and suitable experience in compiling reports utilising and analysing various data sources and to present it in a user-friendly format; ability to interpret and prepare financial management reports
Strong decision-making skills & ability to use initiative and assume responsibility
Must be proactive and be able to think out of the box
Experience in directing and leading a team of varying levels of experience and skill
Ability to coach team members to achieve stated objectives
Excellent organisational / administrative / group dynamics facilitation and interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to relate to and be accepted by people; must be a team player

Required Certificates, Licences, Registrations:

BCom qualification with Accounting 3. Or relevant business degree or diploma
Proven and relevant experience and success in a similar financial management position in the material handling or motor dealership industry; minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Ideal candidate will have experience working on the Kerridge / Autoline system and have prior exposure to rental operations
Code 8 driver''''s licence
