Financial Accountant - George

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Financial Accounting, or a related field. Experience in an accounting practice environment will be advantageous. Previous supervisory or management experience will be beneficial but is not essential. Proven experience in: Full-function bookkeeping Payroll processing and administration Preparation and compilation of financial statements General accounting and reporting functions Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficient in CaseWare. Experience working with Xero accounting software. Responsibilities but not limited to: Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple clients. Perform bookkeeping functions up to trial balance. Process payroll and related statutory submissions. Prepare monthly and annual financial reports. Compile financial statements and supporting working papers. Perform bank, creditor, debtor, and payroll reconciliations. Assist with client queries and provide professional service and support. Liaise with management and clients regarding financial information and reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and statutory requirements.
