On behalf of a valued client, we are recruiting for a Financial Accountant: Reporting & Consolidation, based in Bryanston. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills and a sharp eye for financial accuracy. The successful candidate will play a key role in reporting on financial performance, ensuring tax compliance, and contributing to strategic decision-making through insightful analysis.

Key Duties:

• Prepare and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and reports for compliance and accuracy
• Ensure accurate tax computations and regulatory compliance
• Monitor and report on business performance, budgets, costs, and trends
• Assign accurate entries to accounts and submit monthly reports
• Provide variance analysis between budgeted and actual financial outcomes
• Recommend solutions to financial and operational challenges
• Support audit processes and ensure readiness for internal and external audits
• Educate and support staff on financial systems and reporting processes
• Develop and improve financial policies, procedures, and processes

Key Requirements:

• BCom or BCom Honours in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting, including reporting and consolidation
• At least 1 year experience in multinational and multi-currency environments (advantageous)
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
• Strong skills in reconciliations, financial analysis, and management reporting
• High levels of integrity, problem-solving ability, and business acumen
• Ability to communicate clearly across various levels of the organisation
