Financial Administrator / Coordinator

Our client is seeking an experienced, organized, and proactive Administrator to oversee the day-to-day administrative, operations of the engineering business. the successful candidate will provide administrative, financial, procurement and payroll support while ensuring the efficient running of the office and maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

 Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Coordinate all daily office administration functions
• Provide administrative support to management and operational teams
• Manage office supplies, service providers, and other facitilities
• Process supplier and customer transactions using QuickBooks
• Assist with accounts payable and reconciliations
• process payroll using VIP Payroll, including leave administration and payroll reporting
• Maintain employee records and support HR administration
• maintain electronic and manual filing systems
• Support project administration and documentation
• Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, and service providers
• Ensure administrative compliance with company policies and procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve administrative systems and efficiencies

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Matric coupled with a certificate \/ diploma in office administration, business administration or a related qualification is advantageous Minimum 5-8 years' experience in an administrative coordination role Previous experience in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, or technical environment is preferred Valid Driver's Licence advantageous MS Office Suite - Intermediate Excel, QuickBooks Desktop, VIP Payroll, General office systems and electronic document management Key Competencies: Professional and well presented Honest and trustworthy Positive and proactive Calm under pressure Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail Adaptable and flexible Confident communicating with people at all levels A self-starter who takes ownership of responsibilities Committed to delivering high-quality work and continuously impproving processes
