Role Overview
We’re looking for a driven Junior Financial Advisor, salaried position, starting at R30,000 per month, with additional incentives over time. This role is ideal for someone who is either a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) or actively working towards certification.
You’ll work directly with senior advisors, gaining exposure to high-net-worth individuals, companies, and trusts, with a focus on investment planning and long-term financial strategies. The role offers deep professional development and a potential path to international expansion in the future.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with goal-oriented, realistic financial planning for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
• Develop tailored investment, retirement, and estate strategies.
• Support senior advisors in delivering compliant, high-quality advice to clients.
• Stay informed on local and offshore markets, legislation, and products.
• Conduct research, prepare financial plans and reports, and assist with portfolio reviews.
• Participate in ongoing training, strategy sessions, and client meetings.
• Contribute to maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
• CFP® certification or currently completing the CFP® qualification (required)
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Wealth Management or similar qualification (minimum 120 credits, NQF Level 8)
• 1–3 years’ experience in a financial planning, investment advisory, or wealth management role
• Strong understanding of the financial planning process and investment strategies
• Professional communication skills and a high level of client engagement ability
• Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, corporates, and trusts is advantageous
