Financial Advisor

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join our East Rand office. This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years’ experience in financial advisory and an existing client book. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to leverage a strong lead network, supported by marketing and business development resources, while earning a highly competitive commission in a flexible and dynamic environment.

This is a commission-based role with the potential for a small upfront support for the first few months, and a sign-on bonus for advisors bringing an existing client book.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow the advisor’s own existing client book, providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advice.
• Develop new client relationships through introductions to the company’s lead networks and PCA-generated leads.
• Deliver tailored advice on investments, retirement planning, insurance, and wealth management products.
• Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality service and retention.
• Work closely with internal teams and leverage marketing support to maximise lead conversion.
• Keep abreast of industry regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
• Achieve individual performance targets for revenue, assets under management, and client acquisition.

Package & Structure

• Commission split: 70% to the advisor, 30% to PWM.
• Year 1 expected earnings: R400,000 – R650,000 (typical range for new advisors).
• Upfront support: Small stipend available for initial months.
• Sign-on bonus: Available for advisors bringing their own existing client book.
• Lead generation support: Access to PCA leads and broader lead networks.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a financial advisor.
• Existing client book belonging to the advisor is essential.
• Valid RE5 License.
• Strong track record of client acquisition, retention, and revenue generation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven mindset.
• Knowledge of financial planning software and CRM tools is advantageous.
