Our Cape Town based franchise client offer financial advisers the opportunity to expand and offer a more specialized financial planning service to their clients.

POSITION INFO:

Do you have 2years’ FAIS insurance experience, RE5 as well as your own vehicle?

Are you able to travel on a regular basis?

As their Independent FINANCIAL ADVISOR / INSURANCE BROKER / FINANCIAL PLANNER you can provide financial solutions to both individuals and companies on risk, investments, employee benefits, short term insurance, etc.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:  PERMANENT

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric or National Senior Certificate
• FAIS credits / Full Insurance Qualifications - Non-negotiable
• RE5 - Non-negotiable
• Own reliable transport
• 2 years FAIS insurance external sales experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow the six steps in financial planning in the sales process
• Generate leads, set up appointments, meet clients and close the deal
• Service existing clients - expected to travel regularly
• Source from various Insurers and Investment houses required quotations, amendments and servicing
• Prepare and present a recommendation or solution to the client implement, review, and monitor on an ongoing basis
• Obtain all necessary documentation (FICA documentation)
• Ensure all associated administration is completed in an effective manner to meet the group''s compliance and regulatory requirements
• Meet ongoing education & professional development regarding legislative & industry requirements & best practices
• Build & maintain client base whilst achieving targets
• Assist with ad hoc marketing drives
