A Financial Analyst Opportunity for a Chartered Accountant (CA).

POSITION INFO:
Are you a newly qualified Chartered Accountant ready to break new ground in a high-impact industry? Our client, a respected player in the African mining sector, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic finance team based in the bustling heart of Sandton. This is a rare opportunity to move beyond traditional finance roles and step into a strategic position with real influence and international exposure.

Duties:

Provide in-depth financial analysis to support business units and senior management
Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and investment analysis
Support M&A activity, project evaluations, and capital expenditure decisions
Work with finance teams across African subsidiaries to ensure accuracy, compliance, and insight
Conduct variance analysis, KPI reporting, and trend identification to drive performance

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:
- A qualified CA(SA) designation – this is essential
Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
- Minimum of 6 months post-articles experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with cross-border travel into Africa
