We’re Hiring: A Senior Financial Manager in the Distribution Industry, to be Based in Johannesburg East.

POSITION INFO:
Are you a seasoned Chartered Accountant with a passion for driving financial excellence at a group level? Are you ready to step into a leadership role that offers both strategic influence and operational depth? Our client, a market leader in the distribution industry, is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to join their growing finance function in Johannesburg East. This is a permanent opportunity for a high-calibre finance professional who brings technical strength, strong consolidation expertise, and proven leadership experience. This position is ideally suited for a Chartered Accountant with a solid track record in managing complex group structures and delivering insights that drive performance.

Duties:

Oversee the group consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across multiple entities.
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process, including the preparation of Board packs and statutory submissions.
Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:
- A qualified CA(SA) designation – this is essential.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, with a focus on group-level consolidations and financial reporting.
- Proven experience managing a finance team or function, with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor.
