Financial Analyst

SUMMARY:
A well-established and iconic landmark of Cape Town is looking to hire an innovative, technically strong and passionate individual to join their booming business.

POSITION INFO:

Analyse data to identify opportunities, trends, risks, and internal control gaps
Develop and implement new business processes and systems
Ensure effective and efficient stakeholder management and relationships
Calculating, reporting, and commenting on operational ratios and property key information
Ensure compliance and overall risk management
Produce annual long-term forecasts
Ensure and contribute to operational efficiency
Review and update annual rolling forecast for the group split into different sectors
Ensure and manage overall compliance of procedures and policies
Report on data analysis to provide insight
Calculate and monitor risk metrics
Review and approve new business processes and systems
Compile and supply accurate, valid, and complete business information for benchmarking
Review and approve cost allocations submitted by the business
Monthly consolidations and reporting
Reconcile various accounts including General ledger, provisions, etc.
Coordinate and manage the forecasting processes
Support with the budget process across the business
Shareholder budget requirements- compilation, completion, review and recommend annual targets
Produce annual long-term forecasts
Ad hoc projects as they arise

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience
Property or Retail industry experience non-negotiable
Good technical knowledge

Qualification:
CA(SA) non-negotiable
