Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding player in the renewable energy space, focused on delivering utility-scale energy solutions across Africa.

This role sits within a commercially driven project team and offers exposure to complex project finance structures, strategic decision-making, and industry-leading developments in solar and renewable infrastructure.

This is a unique opportunity for a finance professional looking to deepen their expertise in project finance, energy infrastructure, and investment analysis while contributing to sustainable energy solutions. You will collaborate closely with project developers, investors, and cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities and support execution.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial models for renewable energy and infrastructure projects
Conduct investment analysis, feasibility studies, and commercial assessments
Support project development activities including financial structuring and funding processes
Perform risk analysis, financial governance, and compliance within project frameworks
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors and project partners
Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education:
- CA(SA) highly preferred or equivalent finance qualification
- Additional exposure to energy or project finance is advantageous
Experience:
- 3 to 6 years experience in financial analysis, ideally within infrastructure, energy, or project environments
- Proven experience in financial modelling and investment analysis
- Exposure to renewable energy or large-scale projects will be highly beneficial
Skills:
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of project finance principles and financial structuring
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and communicate financial insights effectively
- Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting fundamentals is advantageous
