JOB DESCRIPTION:

Financial Assistant - Stellenbosch (Office based role).

Level: Entry

Opportunity to grow in Finance department and gain functional experience, assisting the team in reaching monthly and weekly deadlines. Matric (with meeting minimum requirements for a bachelor’s degree) coupled with knowledge of Excel and Excel functions required for this role.

Responsibilities include (not limited to): -

Payments
Purchases (non-stock related)
Processing – loading purchase orders for non-stock related items/expenses; capturing non-stock related invoices in creditors on ERP and submitting journals for review
Petty cash management
General office duties
Admin

Requirements

Matric with meeting requirements for bachelor’s degree
Excel knowledge
Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Positive “can do” attitude
Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
Own transport
