JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is a tier 1 service provider who is well established in the telecommunications industry. They are looking for a Financial Assistant who will be assisting the Financial Manager as well as the Senior Accountant in their daily duties. The successful candidate must come with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements

2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Essential: Pastel proficiency.
Essential: Drivers’ License and Own Vehicle.
Beneficial: Financial Qualification.
Beneficial: Telecommunications background and knowledge.

Roles and Responsibilities

FNB, Nedbank and Netcash cashbook reconciliations.
Adding all new clients on Netcash.
Using Netcash for all Debit Orders that are received from Debtors.
Call out invoices of Debtors.
Issuing of Debtors Credit Notes.
Handling Debtors Month end.
Sending Invoices and Statements to clients.
Responsible for Debt Collection.
Creditors reconciliation.
The preparation of payments, as well as the processing of PN’s.
Stock balancing at the end of the month.
Responsible for loading and authorising payments on FNB.
