SUMMARY:
Are you an experience Bookkeeper to Trial Balance who is immediately available, fluent in English & Afrikaans, and can work 5.00 am to 2pm in Epping?

Our client involved in the fresh produce industry requires your finance expertise to work in a deadline orientated position.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements Relevant qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance. Previous bookkeeping experience within a busy, fast-paced business environment. Sound knowledge of bookkeeping principles up to trial balance. Confident preparing reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records. Strong numerical ability with exceptional attention to detail. Able to prioritise workloads and consistently meet deadlines. Bilingual in Afrikaans and English (written and spoken). Experience using accounting software; exposure to Xero will be beneficial. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and interpret financial information. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and fresh produce operations would be advantageous. A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Must be available to work Monday to Saturday from 05:00 to 14:00 . Duties Maintain accurate financial records by capturing day-to-day accounting transactions. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Prepare invoices, process customer account sales, allocate payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts. Assist with the onboarding and financial setup of new customers, suppliers, and producers. Process sales documentation and maintain accurate customer and supplier records. Support inventory administration, including stock counts, stock adjustments, claims, and packaging records. Compile financial and sales information to assist management with reporting and business performance analysis. Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, growers, and suppliers. Perform general administrative duties and provide support across finance and operational functions as required. Assist with stock control and other operational processes to ensure the smooth running of the business.
