Financial Business Analyst (CIMA)

SUMMARY:
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the analyses of financial data to enable effective decision making, strategic planning and profitability for the company.

POSITION INFO:

You will be required to work closely with CEO, GM, CFO and Sales Manager to action plans related to data analyses results. Due to our client''''s equity plan preference will be given to African males or females.

• CA(SA) or CIMA qualified
• 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment is critical
• 3 years’ working experience on ERP systems essential
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills in particular Excel
• Experience with Syspro will be an advantage
• Strong Analytical and planning Skills

Key Results Areas:

• Analyse the products and customer profitability and identify loss-making products.
• Perform monthly sales analyses, including sales mix and sales price variance analyses and report it to the Sales Manager.
• Monitor BOMs for all products in the system to ensure that they are accurate to facilitate costing and profitability analysis through the ERP system.
• Reviewing the operational metrics such as waste and efficiency of machines to identify areas of deficiencies and to work with the operations team in developing action plans to rectify the same.
• In-depth analyses over operational costs on an ongoing basis to highlight areas of cost overruns and developing action plans with the relevant department for cost savings.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for cyclical meetings, e.g. quarterly board meetings, etc.
• Perform pre- and post-calculations of profitability per stock code/job and report factors contributing to major variances.
• Monthly review and reporting on operational KPIs for sales, planning and operations
• Compile cyclical reports and presentations.
• Maintain and update all relevant documents and reports
