Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the full operational risk management lifecycle, providing a consolidated view of risk across the organisation
Develop and maintain robust operational risk frameworks, governance structures, and assurance processes
Coordinate combined assurance activities, including audit and reliance planning, to ensure effective risk coverage
Continuously monitor and assess the operational risk profile, implementing controls to mitigate financial and operational losses
Drive process improvement initiatives, including automation and efficiency enhancements

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Financial Management, or a related discipline
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience within risk and/or audit functions
- At least 5 years’ experience in a management role with proven leadership capability
- Experience operating at a senior level within highly regulated environments
Skills:
- Strong understanding of operational risk, governance, compliance, and assurance frameworks
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate, influence, and challenge stakeholders at an executive level
Non-negotiables:
- Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement capability
- Strong understanding of risk processes and regulatory requirements
