Financial Control Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Economic Development industry based in East London is seeking to employ a Financial Control Manager to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: 

The Key Performance Areas will encompass:
a. Financial Control
b. Financial Reporting
c. Account Management
d. Financial Support
e. People Management


Technical competencies:
a. Practical knowledge and understanding GAAP, statements of GAAP, IFRS and IFRS for small companies and IAS
b. Thorough practical knowledge of Management Accounting principles and calculations
c. Thorough knowledge of the Income Tax Act and Value Added Tax Act, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Companies Act, Insolvency Act, NCA, FICA, King report and all other relevant legislation
d. Basic knowledge of Basel II/III
e. Advanced Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
f. Knowledge of Windows and various Accounting packages

Job Requirements: 
. CA and an in-depth knowledge of the Public Management Finance Act and related legislation.
 
b. 8 years related experience of which 3 years at management level
