We’re Hiring: Financial Controller in the FMCG Industry.

POSITION INFO:
Our client, a market-leading organization in the FMCG industry, is looking for a dynamic Financial Controller to join their finance leadership team in Johannesburg North. This is more than just a numbers role—it’s about driving financial performance, influencing business decisions, and playing a pivotal role in the ongoing growth of an established brand. You’ll report directly to the CFO and be responsible for leading the full suite of financial control functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic financial planning.

Duties:

Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles with accuracy and timeliness.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Manage financial controls and accounting procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Partner with key business stakeholders to provide financial insights that drive decision-making.
Improve systems, processes, and policies in support of organizational goals.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and variance reporting to track performance and cost efficiencies.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:
- CA(SA) qualification is essential
Experience:
- 5+ years post-articles experience in financial controlling within the FMCG industry—this is non-negotiable
- Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
