SUMMARY:
Take full control of a finance function within a business that shapes the city skyline. If you’re a structured, analytical, operations-driven finance professional, this role will give you complete visibility and influence across large-scale signage and billboard projects.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is a national outdoor media and signage provider, specialising in billboards, large-format branding and high-impact installations. They’re seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial operations, refine processes, and ensure tight commercial and project cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

Full financial control of operations and project accounting
Overseeing month-end, reporting, and cashflow cycles
Project costing, margin analysis & budget vs actual review
Managing AP/AR, credit control and supplier payments
Implementing and improving financial systems & controls
Preparing management accounts and board reports
Leading annual audits and ensuring compliance
Supporting operational teams on costing, budgets & quotes
Monitoring capex and asset management

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Accounting or similar
5+ years financial accounting/controlling experience
Strong exposure to project-based environments (construction, signage, fabrication, engineering etc.)
Excellent costing and analytical skills
Strong system and process improvement mindset
High accuracy, resilience & the ability to work with operations teams
Strong stakeholder management capability
