Key Responsibilities Typically Include:

• Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
• Overseeing daily finance operations, including cash flow, creditors, debtors, payroll, and fixed assets
• Ensuring accuracy across financial records, reconciliations, and trial balances
• Managing treasury functions and banking relationships
• Preparing management reports, financial analysis, and KPI reporting
• Handling consolidations and inter-company transactions
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax, and statutory requirements
• Leading audit processes and liaising with external auditors
• Identifying process improvements and mitigating financial risks
• Supporting strategic business decisions through financial insight and reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
• Minimum 3+ years’ post-articles experience in a Financial Controller or similar leadership role
• 3–5 years’ experience managing finance teams
• Strong commercial and operational finance exposure
• Experience within renewable energy, environmental, engineering, manufacturing, or project-based industries advantageous
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving ability
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and evolving business environments
