Our client, based in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha, seeks to employ a Financial Controller to join their Finance department.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

- Prepare PAYE, SDL & UIF reconciliations.
- Review VAT reconciliations for all companies.
- Maintain fixed assets register.
- Prepare monthly General Ledger journals and accruals.
- Prepare monthly General Ledger Reconciliations.
- Resolving queries and follow up on exceptions on General Ledger Reconciliations.
- Cash management - Approval and releasing of EFT payments.
- Ensure all monthly reporting deadlines are met.
- Assist with ad hoc duties in Finance Department.
- Assisting with audit queries.

Requirements:

Matric
BCom degree or equivalent
At least 5 years’ experience in finance
High level of Excel
