Financial Controller

Our client, an investment holding company operating in the FMCG industry, is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Manage the group tax function.
• Assist with the group automated consolidation processes.
• Assist in establishing and improving automated internal reporting on Qliksense (Business Intelligence reports).
• Assist with the budgeting processes.
• Analyse and report on financial data.
• Financial Management function/oversight for non-operating/commercial head office entities.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory and internal reporting documents and requirements.
• Ad-hoc assistance to the finance team, as required.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Chartered Accountant qualification (SA).
• 3 - 5 years post article experience.
• FMCG Industry is a prerequisite.
• Syspro and Qlikview experience advantageous.

Proven Knowledge, skills, and attitude:

• Good knowledge of manufacturing (preferably food / beverage industry).
• Deadline driven, and results orientated.
• Solid analytical and reporting abilities.
• Presentation and computer skills (MS Office / ERP System).
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Takes initiative.
• Good attention to detail.
• Trustworthy.
• Able to handle work pressure.
• Driver’s license and own transport.

Area: Plattekloof, Cape Town.

Market related salary offered.
