JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, an investment holding company operating in the FMCG industry, is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Manage the group tax function.
Assist with the group automated consolidation processes.
Assist in establishing and improving automated internal reporting on Qliksense (Business Intelligence reports).
Assist with the budgeting processes.
Analyse and report on financial data.
Financial Management function/oversight for non-operating/commercial head office entities.
Assist with the preparation of statutory and internal reporting documents and requirements.
Ad-hoc assistance to the finance team, as required.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

Chartered Accountant qualification (SA).
3 - 5 years post article experience.
FMCG Industry is a prerequisite.
Syspro and Qlikview experience advantageous.

Proven Knowledge, skills, and attitude:

Good knowledge of manufacturing (preferably food / beverage industry).
Deadline driven, and results orientated.
Solid analytical and reporting abilities.
Presentation and computer skills (MS Office / ERP System).
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Self-motivated.
Takes initiative.
Good attention to detail.
Trustworthy.
Able to handle work pressure.
Driver’s license and own transport.

Area: Plattekloof, Cape Town.

Market related salary offered.
