POSITION INFO:
This well-established division of a leading JSE listed company in the automotive industry is known for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. Operating from Edenvale, Johannesburg, the division plays a critical role in the sector, focusing on delivering outstanding financial performance while ensuring compliance with South African financial regulations.
As the Finance Director, you will report directly to the Managing Director and be entrusted with overseeing the financial strategy, management, and reporting for the division. You will lead a skilled finance team, drive cost containment, manage financial risks, and ensure accurate and timely reporting aligned with IFRS and governance standards. Your strategic insights will support business growth and key decisions, while fostering a high-performance culture within the finance function.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) qualification with at least 10 years post-articles experience.
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African financial compliance.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and financial acumen.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple systems and adapt to changing environments.
- Strong MS Office skills, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience in the automotive or financial services industries is advantageous.
- Own reliable transport and clear criminal and credit records.
