POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Our client in the finance insurance industry is searching for a well experienced qualified Chartered Accountant with numerous years experience in the insurance industry. The role will suit someone who has management experience and looking to take their career to the next level. Our client is looking for a candidate that has extensive IFRS17 knowledge and implementation experience. Duties in this role will be but not limited to meticulous financial reporting and accounting skills, the ability to manage and take the team to better heights and someone who is able to deal with managing projects and coordination. This role will report into the Chief Financial Officer.

Education:

Qualified CA(SA)
8 years post insurance
IFRS 17 is non-negotiable
Implementation experience of financial systems an added advantage

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Full finance function
Annual business planning and budgeting processes
Strong technical knowledge and IFRS developments and implementation
Ad hoc financial reporting
Financial statements
