Financial Director

SUMMARY:
Exciting prospect to lead and manage six subsidiaries within a rapidly expanding export group. Make this role yours by providing strategic direction, streamlining process and focusing on all the financial aspects of the group.

POSITION INFO:

Ensure company budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed

Drives cost efficiency initiatives to reduce expenses across the Group

Take overall control of the company’s accounting function

Research funding sources and oversee the development of fund-raising plans and write funding proposals to increase the funds of the organization

Prepare contingency plans and future strategies, to be proactive, to initiate continuous improvement projects

Provide transformational leadership which continually raises the bar

Work effectively with operational and business leaders to develop a shared vision & approach to the group

Identify opportunities and drive actions that would allow performance to exceed the agreed plan, accelerate growth, improve margins, and drive down working capital needs

Brings a pre-existing attitude that people are at the core of every business and every business’s success

Ensure that company financial systems are compliant and support current activities and future growth

Perform ad hoc duties and tasks as assigned by the Managing Director and Board of Director

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years in a Senior Management Role

Minimum 10 years within Finance

Qualification:

CA(SA)

Or

CIMA 

Or

MBA
