SUMMARY:
This business is owned by a large multinational. This Financial Director role is for an individual that enjoys both numbers and operations. This role will require someone who enjoy problem solving and putting in place structure, making things your own. There is guidance from the Chief Financial Officer however the Financial Director will need to be able to conceptualize and action ideas.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

You will need to insure complete and accurate financial and operational accounting. Assume responsibility for the financial control environment. Manage expenses within budget. Monthly management reporting. Continuous improvement and automisation of finance process. This role requires someone both technically and operationally strong. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance department.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

CA(SA)
6 years post article experience
People management skill
Full finance function including tax
IFRS
Strong technical knowledge is critical
Knowledge of financial systems (on a technical level) and financial system configuration
Operational finance
FMCG, Retail, Telecoms background
