SUMMARY:
Financial Director

POSITION INFO:

The person should be able to do the following or have worked in the following departments in their career

Financial Controller

Accounting Department

Treasury

Must be able to understand the FPA Tool.

There is a huge opportunity for this role to be converted into the CFO role after 6 months with the organization depending on the performance of the candidates.

Duties will include please note this is not an exhaustive list and we may add or take away form of the duties.

Directing financial planning and strategy

Analyzing and reporting in financial performance

Overseeing the tax and audit function

Developing and implementing accounting policies

Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budges

Training accounting staff

Reviewing departmental budgets

Managing risks

Improving financial processes

Implement financial strategy

Conducting feasibility studies

Monitor expenditure

Overseeing the annual insurance.

Evaluating the investments

Managing tax compliance

In addition to the above this person should have strong numerical skills to drive the organizations financial operations and improve the financial performance. This needs to be coupled with strong analytical skills, good strategic skills and exceptional numerical proficiency as well as strong leadership skills.

Financial Management at a director level is a must
Strong aptitude for maths
Good communication skills
Computer literacy
Strong analytical skills
Broad knowledge of the accounting principles.
