JOB SUMMARY:
A well reputed company in the Travel and Tourism industry is in looking to bring on a Financial Executive to lead the Eastern and South African Finance division. Please refer to the criteria bellow:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

At least 5 years’ experience in a Senior Finance position
CA(SA) preferable
Tourism and Travel industry experience preferable
Forex knowledge
In depth knowledge of cross-functions across other departments and experience with working with other departmental directors
Worked in a regional role reporting in Financial central office
Experience in leading change and transformation
Must be able to produce management accounts.

Key Performance Areas (Responsibilities) not limited to:

Directing financial planning and strategy for the East and Southern Africa divisions.
Leading regional transformation and consolidation efforts.
Providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the company's financial commitments are met.
Continuing reviewing internal process to ensure efficiencies for the business.
Analysing and reporting on regional financial performance.
Overseeing audit and tax functions for the region.
Developing and implementing accounting policies with the support from Group Finance.
Preparing, analysing, and consolidating forecasts and comprehensive budgets.
Working with Global leadership to ensure company compliance.
Support other parts of the business with commercial decisions and commercial strategies.
Training accounting staff.
Reviewing departmental and regional budgets.
Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk.
Analysing complex financial data.
Managing internal controls.
Implement, maintain, and assist with designing of a proper accounting system.
