A high-impact opportunity exists for a driven finance professional to operate at the intersection of Finance, Operations, and Technology within a fast-paced retail environment. Work in a dynamic retail environment with exposure to complex operations Play a key role in shaping finance processes and operational decision-making Gain early leadership responsibility and visibility with senior stakeholders Contribute to projects, system implementations, and finance transformation initiatives Be part of an environment embracing AI, automation, and continuous improvement What you will be doing: Financial Management & Reporting Deliver management accounting and financial performance analysis Manage monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes Monitor OPEX and perform detailed cost analysis Oversee balance sheet integrity and financial controls Manage property, fixed assets, and cash\/banking processes Leadership & Team Management Lead and develop a team of approximately 15 across multiple finance functions Drive coaching, performance management, and capability building Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Systems, Projects & Automation Drive finance process automation initiatives Support ERP optimisation and process simplification Contribute to AI, reporting, and system transformation initiatives What we are looking for: Minimum requirements CA(SA) newly qualified or with 2-3 years' experience, or alternative finance qualification such as CIMA with approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience Strong financial and management accounting foundation Advanced Excel and analytical capability Advantageous Retail industry experience ERP exposure, preferably Sage X3 Power BI and reporting tools experience Exposure to systems implementation, automation, or process improvement Benefits and unique aspects: Opportunity to build and improve finance processes rather than inherit them Early leadership responsibility with a sizeable team High visibility and direct exposure to senior leadership Broad exposure across finance, operations, and technology Involvement in AI adoption, automation, and system enhancement projects Strong career growth pathway into broader finance leadership roles Please note if you haven't heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
